Description
The Strategy and Business Development Analyst supports the organization’s growth agenda by conducting market research, analyzing data, evaluating business opportunities, and assisting in strategic planning and execution. The ideal candidate will help identify trends, assess competitive positioning, and support high-impact business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 2–4 years of experience in strategy consulting, business development, investment analysis, or corporate planning.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Knowledge of oil and gas value chain
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Tableau)
- Strong communication and presentation skills,
- Cross-functional coordination,
- Report writing and presentation, Strong attention to detail
- Advanced Excel Ability to derive insights from large datasets
Responsibility
- Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, risks, and new business opportunities.
- Analyze internal and external data to support strategic decision-making.
- Support the development of business plans, financial models, and feasibility studies.
- Track competitor performance, market share movements, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential partnerships, alliances, and investment opportunities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations) to execute growth strategies.
- Monitor and track progress of strategic initiatives and provide regular updates.
- Support due diligence and integration planning for mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures.
