Job Title: HSE Manager

Job Summary

  • We seek an experienced HSE Manager to lead our health, safety, and environmental programmes.
  • The role is critical to ensuring zero harm operations and compliance with Nigerian and international HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian HSE regulations and international standards
  • Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Conduct HSE audits and risk assessments
  • Design and deliver HSE training programmes
  • Monitor HSE performance and prepare reports
  • Interface with regulatory authorities and clients on HSE matters
  • Lead emergency response planning and preparedness
  • Promote HSE culture throughout the organization
  • Manage HSE budget and resources

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of HSE experience in oil & gas operations
  • Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.)
  • Experience with HSE management systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
  • Knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in incident investigation and analysis
  • Risk assessment and management expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in HSE or related field
  • Experience with well intervention operations
  • International HSE certifications
  • Emergency response training and experience
  • Environmental management experience
  • Regulatory interface experience.
