Job Title: Junior Wireline Engineer (Graduate Trainee)

Job Summary

  • We are launching a Graduate Trainee Program for Junior Wireline Engineers.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to start their career in oil & gas well intervention services with comprehensive training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in comprehensive wireline training program
  • Support senior engineers in job planning and execution
  • Learn wireline equipment operation and maintenance
  • Assist in data acquisition and analysis
  • Participate in field operations under supervision
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Attend safety training and certification programmes
  • Support equipment testing and calibration activities
  • Learn client interface and communication skills
  • Participate in continuous learning and development programmes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Recent graduate (0-2 years of experience)
  • Strong academic performance (minimum 2nd class upper)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work in field conditions
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Learning agility and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
  • Internship experience in oil & gas industry
  • Knowledge of drilling and completion operations
  • Computer programming and software skills
  • Leadership experience in university or community activities
  • Professional society membership (SPE, etc.).
