Job Description

  • Provides technical and functional support in the areas of Microsoft CRM 2012 R2 and future versions, including administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, development, testing, security, and training.
  • Works closely with other team members and partners to complete the ongoing Microsoft CRM 2012 on-premises migration to Dynamics 365 modules, including Customer Support and Sales & Marketing.
  • Collaborates with the lead developer and other team members to improve the CRM/D365 system, helping the business achieve its objectives.
  • Designs and develops Dynamics 365 projects and customizations based on Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
  • Participates in design and code reviews, provides input into design recommendations, and ensures alignment with pre-defined architectural specifications.
  • Performs unit tests and integrated testing to ensure delivered solutions are of high quality.
  • Contributes to the definition and documentation of Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
  • Moves code between environments routinely, following best practices.
  • Collaborates with business analysts, other developers, and internal users to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues related to integrations and the Microsoft CRM/D365 application.
  • Identifies and escalates system performance issues, risks, and impediments to the team lead and immediate supervisor.
  • Executes coding changes and development in line with established coding standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrates a high level of proficiency with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Possesses experience with X++, SSRS, and MS SQL Server, and demonstrates strong knowledge of CRM database structure, coding, and development techniques.
  • Communicates effectively—both written and verbally—with technical and non-technical professionals.

Requirements

Formal Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), or a related field.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications.
  • ITIL Certification (preferred).

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Modules, including Finance and Operations and Human Resources.
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM 2012 migration to Dynamics 365.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft CRM / Dynamics 365 development.
  • Strong ability in performance analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced knowledge of database query languages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Technical Skills & Tools:

  • Visual Studio – 3–4 years of experience.
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS) – 3–4 years of experience.
  • .NET Development Platform – 3–4 years of experience.
  • Microsoft Programming Languages – Proficiency in X++, C++, C#, C, XML (3–4 years of experience).
  • Microsoft SQL Server – 3–4 years of experience.
  • Microsoft Power Platform – 3–4 years of experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite – High level of proficiency.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of progressive experience in technical environments.
