WakaFoody
WakaFoody (operating as Waka Foods Express) is an Abuja-founded food delivery platform that stands out as the first Pidgin-language app in Nigeria—declaring “Wakafoods dey come!” for a refreshingly local brand feel. Serving across key districts in Abuja, it connects customers with street vendors, home cooks, fast-food joints, and wine stores, offering delivery in 30 minutes or less, real-time order tracking, and zero onboarding fees for vendors. With features like a vendor loyalty program and intuitive dashboard tools, WakaFoody supports over 500 vendors and taps into Abuja’s growing appetite for quick, authentic local meals—all while empowering small-scale vendors and reshaping urban food access.
