African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER
The African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER have partnered to launch an online capacity building training aimed at equipping young African women and men with critical skills in STEAM, digital literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, while also strengthening the ability of women teachers to deliver digital and STEAM education effectively. This initiative promotes gender-responsive education and addresses systemic barriers to opportunity. African Union CIEFFA, a specialized AU institution under the Department of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (ESTI), champions gender equality in education across the continent. ImpactHER, an award-winning nonprofit, empowers African female entrepreneurs by closing the gender gap in business financing and helping them unlock their full economic potential.

The African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER are launching the Online Capacity Building Training under the theme:
#AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship.
This free, fully-online training is open to women and men from all 55 African Union Member States and the African Diaspora. Whether you are a student, young professional, entrepreneur, or teacher, this is your opportunity to build real-world skills in:
- Gender equality in and through education
- STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics)
- Digital literacy
- Financial literacy
- Entrepreneurship
