The IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Scholarship 2025 is a fully funded opportunity for young changemakers who are using business to solve real social and environmental problems. This scholarship supports founders and co-founders of social enterprises who are working to improve lives through inclusive and sustainable solutions.
Each year, the scholarship selects outstanding young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit — a global gathering of the world’s most impactful youth leaders — taking place in Munich, Germany from 3–6 November 2025. The summit brings together thousands of delegates from over 190 countries to collaborate, learn, and spark new ideas that can drive meaningful change.
IKEA is especially looking for applicants who are leading projects in one or more of these areas:
- Inclusive circularity (recycling, reuse, waste-to-resource initiatives)
- Inclusive employment (creating jobs for underrepresented or vulnerable groups)
- Inclusive agriculture and food (sustainable and equitable food systems)

Eligibility Requirements for IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Scholarship 2025
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years old
- Be a founder or co-founder of a social business or enterprise
- Be based in one of the following countries: Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Romania, or Sweden
- Be fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Be working actively in at least one of these sectors:
- Inclusive circularity
- Inclusive employment
- Inclusive agriculture and food
- Demonstrate:
- A strong commitment to positive social impact
- Proven leadership experience
- Understanding of and engagement with local or global issues
Note: Applicants over 30 may still be considered if they show exceptional impact. Applications from individuals under 18 at the time of the summit will not be accepted.
