Job Title: Coating Analyst
Purpose
- Ensures compliance with production levels in terms of quantity, quality, opportunity, safety and costs fulfilling and controlling production plans, budget and quality standards. Generates a safe work environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervises compliance with production programs providing information on scrap consumption, productivity and necessary investments.
- Ensures tracking and compliance with the area production and investments budget.
- Minimizes production interruptions and increases available use capacity.
- Obtains production process improvements optimizing resources and increasing corporate profitability levels.
- Issues and consolidates timely operative management reports.
- Ensures a safe work environment by controlling and implementing preventive safety and security programs.
- Guarantees compliance and respect for the consumption targets/goals, carrying out appropriate actions on employees’ behavior that contribute to the improvement and/or productive/efficient use of the plant resources, as well as the decrease of the energy consumptions and waste. To comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process. Implement the preventive/corrective actions. Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or Science
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience. Previous experience on coating is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Windows and the Office package, in particular Excel and PowerPoint. PowerBi proficiency an advantage
- The position requires good communication skills, drive for results, ability to work in a team and flexibility.
- Analytical skills.
