Job Title: Mechanical Technician (Graduate Trainee)

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training focused on pellet plant machinery such as balling discs, rotary kilns, annular coolers, conveyor systems and assist in executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Support inspection, lubrication, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical systems.
• Observe and report abnormal equipment behavior (vibrations, overheating, leaks, etc.).
• Learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and SOPs.
• Maintain basic documentation, maintenance logs, and inspection checklists.
• Adhere strictly to all plant safety rules,procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, instrumentation, process) during plant operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Eng. / HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 0 – 1 year relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Good understanding of basic mechanical concepts and machine operation.
• Eagerness to learn, good communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a plant environment.
