Job Summary

• We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented and motivated graduate accountant to join our Accounts Department in Port Harcourt.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
• Support the preparation of financial reports and records
• Participate in invoice processing, payments, and reconciliation
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Assist in preparing account reconciliations (e.g., bank, vendor)
• Learn and work with accounting software for data entry and reporting
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Support audit processes and internal control checks
• Perform other finance-related tasks as required

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Must have completed NYSC
• 1 year experience (internship, NYSC, or entry-level role in accounting is a plus)
• Strong interest in developing a career in accounting
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability
• Willingness to learn and grow in a structured work environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
