Job Title: Accounts Intern
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial documentation.
- Support the processing and recording of financial transactions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Support bank and other account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments as required.
- Assist in preparing financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Perform data entry and maintain financial records using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ensure proper filing and organisation of accounting documents.
- Support the Finance team with routine accounting and administrative activities.
- Assist with other finance-related tasks and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements for Internship Program at Worknigeria
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates that have completed NYSC are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
